Alexandrite Laser 755 nm

The Alexandrite Laser operates at a wavelength of 755 nm, a wavelength with high absorption by melanin. This allows the laser energy to selectively target melanin within the hair follicle while minimising exposure to the surrounding tissue.

Laser Hair Removal

The Alexandrite 755 nm laser is widely used for long-term hair reduction. Laser energy is absorbed by the pigment within the hair and converted into heat, targeting the hair follicle and progressively reducing hair growth over a course of treatments.

Its characteristics make Alexandrite technology particularly effective for dark, pigmented hair, with treatment parameters individually selected according to the patient’s skin type, hair characteristics and treatment area.

Dermatological Applications

CO₂ Laser

The CO₂ laser is an advanced ablative laser technology that operates at a wavelength of 10,600 nm. Its energy is strongly absorbed by water within the skin, allowing precise and controlled removal of targeted tissue while simultaneously producing a thermal effect in the surrounding area.

Dermatological Applications

CO₂ laser technology is widely used in dermatology for the treatment of selected benign skin lesions, including certain keratoses, warts, skin tags and other appropriate cutaneous lesions. Its precision makes it a valuable tool in dermatologic procedures where controlled tissue ablation is required.

Skin Resurfacing & Scar Treatment

The CO₂ laser may also be used for skin resurfacing and the treatment of selected scars, including acne scars. The controlled thermal effect produced within the skin can stimulate collagen remodelling and help improve skin texture, irregularities and signs of photoageing. Treatment is performed following medical assessment, with laser parameters individually selected according to the patient’s skin characteristics, the condition being treated and the required treatment depth.


Fractional CO₂ Laser

Fractional CO₂ laser technology delivers controlled laser energy into the skin in a pattern of microscopic treatment columns, leaving surrounding areas of tissue intact. This fractional approach promotes a rapid healing response while stimulating collagen remodelling and skin renewal.

Acne Scars & Skin Texture

Fractional CO₂ laser treatment is widely used to improve the appearance of acne scars and other selected textural irregularities. By creating controlled microthermal zones within the skin, the treatment encourages the formation and reorganisation of collagen, helping to achieve a smoother and more even skin surface.

Skin Resurfacing & Rejuvenation

Q-Switch 532 / 1064 nm

Q-Switched laser technology delivers extremely short, high-energy pulses of light designed to target pigment within the skin. The system operates at two wavelengths, 532 nm and 1064 nm, allowing treatment to be tailored according to the depth and colour of the pigment being targeted.

Pigmented Lesions

The 532 nm wavelength is primarily used for more superficial pigmentation, while the 1064 nm wavelength penetrates more deeply into the skin. Depending on the clinical indication, Q-Switched laser technology may be used for selected pigmented lesions and other appropriate pigment-related skin concerns.

Tattoo & Pigment Treatment

Q-Switched lasers are also widely used for the treatment of selected tattoo pigments. Different wavelengths interact with different colours of pigment, allowing treatment parameters to be adjusted according to the colour, depth and characteristics of the target. All treatments are performed following medical assessment, with laser parameters individually selected according to the patient’s skin type, the nature of the pigment and the clinical indication.

FotoFinder

FotoFinder is an advanced digital imaging system used in dermatology for detailed skin examination, dermoscopic documentation and long-term monitoring of moles and other skin lesions. High-resolution images allow suspicious lesions to be recorded accurately and compared over time.

Digital Dermoscopy & Mole Monitoring

Digital dermoscopy provides magnified, high-resolution images of individual skin lesions, allowing their structures and characteristics to be examined in detail. Images can be stored and compared during follow-up examinations, helping identify changes that may require further assessment.

Total Body Mapping

FotoFinder technology can be used to create systematic photographic documentation of the skin surface. Total body mapping is particularly valuable for patients with multiple moles or an increased risk of skin cancer, allowing new or changing lesions to be identified during subsequent examinations. Carbon Peel / Q-Switch Applications

The Carbon Peel is a non-invasive laser treatment that combines a thin layer of carbon-based solution with Q-Switched laser technology. The carbon is applied to the skin and subsequently targeted by controlled laser energy as part of a treatment designed to cleanse and refine the skin’s surface.

Carbon Peel Treatment

The treatment is commonly used to improve the appearance of oily or congested skin, enlarged pores and uneven skin texture. The interaction between the carbon layer and laser energy helps remove surface debris and excess oil, leaving the skin feeling smoother and refreshed.
