Procedural dermatology includes minor medical procedures and selected laser or energy-based treatments used to diagnose, remove or improve a range of dermatological conditions. The appropriate technique depends on the diagnosis, the location and characteristics of the lesion, the patient’s skin type and the intended clinical or aesthetic outcome.
